| Contributing to the Walter Hagen Family Home Foundation Many in the world golf community hold Walter Hagen's legacy in high esteem, and wish to participate in the support and care of his birthplace. To make that participation possible, the Walter Hagen Family Home Foundation is accepting contributions for the renovation, preservation, maintenance, and beautification of the historic birthplace of golf great Walter Hagen, as set forth by the Foundation board. In appreciation of financial support, leadership donors may, from time to time, be invited to the Walter Hagen Family Home. Invitations may include overnight stays, dining invitations, party invitations, or a tour of the home. Tax-exempt status Contributions to the Walter Hagen Family Home Foundation are tax-deductible. The Foundation is under the umbrella of the National Heritage Foundation (Federal Tax ID # 58-2085326), a non-profit corporation which has received from the IRS its status as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) of the IRS Code. The NHF has its national administrative offices in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Due diligence may be pursued via the NHF's web site, or by calling the number below.
